Forklift Technician II

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Springdale, AR within the storage industry.

Forklift Technician II Job Summary:

$25/hr - $27/hr

Train days for 90 days, then 3 pm – 11:30 pm

Perform routine and complex material handling equipment repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the warehouse

Perform troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment and other powered industrial equipment as assigned

Inspect forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA and operational standards

Tests, maintains, and evaluates equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters and other test equipment

Rebuild and replace major components (mast, undercarriage, transmissions, engines/motors)

Forklift Technician II Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 4 years of maintenance experience including 2 years of material handling equipment
• Formal MHE technical training such as Hyster, Crown, Toyota or Raymond preferred
• Knowledge of CMMS (SAP preferred)
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to pass a physical and respiratory exam
