Pay Rate: $300/hr. to $350/hr. on 1099 (travel expenses will be reimbursed)

Project Description

This is a contract role for project work with a large consulting company client of ours. Our client has an airline company client that needs a consultant to educate them about how to identify all the manufacturing risks involved in building commercial aircraft. Our client wants to be able to review the ability of the companies they have contracted to manufacture their aircraft to determine realistic target completion dates.

Contract Length

6 to 8 weeks for the strategy portion of the project. There is a possibility for being extended.

Travel

75% to 100% travel: Onsite Monday to Friday and home on weekends

Possibly some days will be remote from home.

Qualifications

• Work experience at a commercial airplane OEM with expert level knowledge in manufacturing / production
• Cannot currently be working at a commercial airplane OEM but must have recent work experience with one (in the last about 2 years)
• Experience in any of the following is also helpful: supply chain, quality, engineering
• Any experience with engine manufacturing would be ideal
