Job Description

What You'll Work On:

• Copyedit scripts and lower thirds for errors and clarity
• Write teases and cold opens as needed
• Ensure scripts have one voice throughout the show
• Confirm copy on all graphics relates to the story, script, and lower third
• Assist producers in script enhancements
• May be asked to write short stories of news that breaks overnight for the website
• Write headlines and descriptions for syndication clips
• Maintain the Cheddar News brand voice using an approachable & easy-to-digest style
