Job Description

Mandate:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Freight Services Associate will be responsible for monitoring international cargo from origin to its final destination as well as handling all customer needs regarding import and export documentation. You will be responsible for interacting daily with customers, service providers and carriers as well as issue invoices according to policy. You will also be responsible for tracking outgoing couriers and any other duties that are assigned.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding operations (air and ocean )
• Experience in dealing with local brokerage procedures and US customs regulations
• Knowledge of US Export/TSA and FMC regulations
• Fluent in English and Italian

• Self-motivation, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn and accept new challenges
• Proficiency in Windows based programs (MS Office)
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional customer service & problem solving skills
