Job Description

We are actively seeking a Software Developer with AWS development experience to join our growing in-house software development team. Ideal candidates must have experience with AWS including Docker, Lamda, and AWS Connect, DevOps as well as full software development lifecycle experience, great organization skills and a strong desire to explore & implement new technologies.

Essential Duties of the Position

  • Quickly learn the business processes, development standards and codebase
  • Participate in planning and implementing AWS technologies including Docker, Lambda & AWS Connect.
  • Support existing applications as well as help design and develop new software solutions.
  • Work closely with management, staff & clients/customers to identify end-user requirements for both software enhancements and new applications/modules.
  • Write detailed design specifications for large & small software projects
  • Produce clean, efficient code based on the user requirements that meet the department’s coding standards.
  • Develop both stand-alone as well as cloud-based applications
  • Create integrations to external software components & 3 rd party applications
  • Strong organization, communication & critical think skills with the ability to think outside of the box
  • Plan and implement unit, regression and user acceptance testing
  • Create & maintain technical and end-user documentation
  • Participate in code reviews, team training & team building

Requirements of the Position

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of applicable work experience in the field
  • Experience as an AWS DevOps engineer or similar role that was responsible creating, documenting and developing and maintaining AWS services like Docker, Lambda and/or Connect.
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
  • Experience with defining and setting development, test, release, update and support processes for DevOps operations especially in Selenium and Jenkins.
  • Must have experience developing code in at least 2 of the following: Java, React, .Net/C#
  • Experience creating, documenting and maintaining API Integrations.
  • Preferred Database experience with: SQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB
  • Great organization & communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment
  • Self-motivated to quickly learn software programs
  • Goal-orientated to stay focus with each task

The following items are a plus:

  • Experience with Monday, Jira, Selenium, Jenkins or Postman (or similar automated testing tools)
  • AWS Call Center/Telephony experience a plus
  • Knowledge of telephone systems, hardware and networking
  • Experience with deploying appropriate CI/CD tools – Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
  • Knowledge of medical billing, collections, payment processing & insurance

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
