Company: Optum Serve® (Supporting Federal Government Contracts) Location: 9 3rd St N Suite 200, Great Falls, MT 59401 Schedule: Fixed Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM)

Optum Serve is seeking a committed, professional Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dedicated network in Great Falls, MT. This is a critical, patient-facing role focused on delivering quality medical care services required under various federal contracts, potentially supporting Veterans and Service Members.

Key Clinical & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Clinical Support: Assist providers by measuring vital signs, recording information on patient charts, drawing and collecting blood samples (phlebotomy) , and conducting diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG, PFT, ABIs ).
  • Front/Back Office: Manage routine administrative duties, including scheduling, confirming appointments, data entry, referral tracking, and patient check-in/out.
  • Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and organizational standards, ensuring safety and operational protocols are met.
  • Inventory & Housekeeping: Manage supply inventory, daily logs, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clinic (exam rooms, waiting area).

Essential Qualifications (3 Years Minimum Experience)

Candidates must meet the following non-negotiable requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of recent, relevant clinical experience (i.e., Primary Care, Family Care, Occupational Health, or Urgent Care).
  • Certification: Associate degree in Medical Assisting and/or maintenance of unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification .
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems and MS Office Suite applications.
  • Compliance: Must successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
  • Clinical Skills: Experience performing EKG, PFT, ABIs, and venipuncture/blood draw is highly desirable.
