Job Description

Our client is an award-winning digital creative agency that supports the U.S. Federal Government in successfully achieving their mission and goals. We are looking for an experienced Mid-Level  Full-Stack Engineer  join our team. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days onsite in Mclean, VA and 3 days remote per week, Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship and the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance is required.

What you bring to the Game: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, equivalent technical experience 
  • Have 4-6 years’ experience developing solutions within an AWS cloud and has worked as a member of a DevSecOps team. 
  • Understand hybrid and multi-cloud architectures and developing managed serverless and unmanaged microservices within complex cloud environments.
  • Experience developing AWS lambdas and/or Spring/Spring Boot microservices
  • Experience developing and deploying containerized solutions and knowledge of containerized orchestration.
  • Experience leveraging CI/CD pipeline automation (Jenkins, GitLab Runners, or GitHub Actions, CircleCI) to verify source-code via automated linting and unit tests which meets customers’ code coverage requirements.
  • Have professional experience developing and delivering client side and server-side front-end web applications.
  • Passionate about developing enterprise solutions as a part of a large DevSecOps team who is delivering hybrid and multi cloud solutions. 
  • Solid understanding and proven experience with Web technologies and frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, etc 
  • Experience with container orchestration and deploying Kubernetes (or EKS) clusters. 
  • Experience with AWS serverless resource deployments such as lambda, Api-gateway, CloudFront 
  • Experience working with large technical teams and working with leadership to coordinate deliverables across multiple environments. 
  • Experience working with agile tools like Jira, Git, and Confluence. 
Nice to haves: 
  • Experience serving in technical leadership roles and is familiar with Federal IT proposals with prior experience collaborating with business development teams as a full-stack developer and technical SME. 
  • Have an AWS certification or consider obtaining one to backfill and potential experience gaps. 
  • Experience with automated deployments and structuring a solid code branching strategy.
  • Experience with serverless development with Python and Java.
