Job Description
Title: Senior POS Functional tester
Location: Coppell, Texas(Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract on W2
Oracle Simphony with PoS integration.
Required Skills & Experience
- QA experience in POS testing (retail/restaurant/entertainment).
- Proven experience in test planning, test case authoring, and defect logging/tracking (preferably in Azure DevOps).
- Strong understanding of POS configurations: menus, pricing, taxes, tenders, discounts.
- Hands-on experience with POS Lab setup and hardware testing.
- Proficiency in database testing
- Knowledge of Cloud applications, Kubernetes, and Docker deployments.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Good-to-Have
- POS upgrade or migration testing experience.
- Exposure to multi-location POS rollouts.
Deliverables
- Test plan & strategy documents.
- Authored and executed test cases for POS workflows.
- Hardware validation & DB testing reports.
- Logged and tracked defects in Azure DevOps.
- Weekly QA status reports and dashboards.
- Test summary reports
