EOG Resources Denver Division is seeking a Geological Tech for a contract to potential hire position Job Responsibilities: Primary duties will be clerical in nature. Candidate will find, organize, digitize and catalog various types of geological data. These data include seismic surveys, core analytical data, well files, core samples and other miscellaneous items. Candidate will need to be introduced to data types and the goals for digitizing data and then be able to independently determine efficient workflows to accomplish the task. This job will at times require the candidate to stand for prolonged periods and to lift boxes of paper files and rock samples. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Geology or GIS preferred. Experience with Excel required, SQL, Python, Petra, Spotfire experience is a plus Candidate must be detail oriented and able to maintain focus during repetitive tasks Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to exercise sound judgment. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience. EOG Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer
