Work Schedule:
- 40 hours/week | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM during initial training (2–4 weeks)
- Flex schedule after training: Onsite MTW, remote ThF
- Status: Pending

Job Description:
The Data Entry Representative will support the Coordination of Benefits (COB) Competitive Intelligence Team by accurately entering medical claim data into various systems. This role requires a strong understanding of medical claims, claim forms, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), with knowledge of medical coding considered a plus. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while also collaborating with analysts, IT support, and management. This role directly contributes to the accuracy, efficiency, and overall improvement of COB processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter medical claim data into Professional and Facility Access Databases in a timely and accurate manner
- Utilize tools and systems such as Microsoft Access, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, IView, Xnet, and Iris
- Maintain productivity and accuracy metrics for both manual and electronic COB record entry
- Perform quality reviews and audits of both manual and electronic entries; apply corrections as needed
- Communicate daily project updates, errors, and issues with Analysts and management
- Support process improvement initiatives and participate in team discussions and testing activities
- Ensure compliance with Ethics and required trainings
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Strong data entry skills and familiarity with medical claims and claim forms
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines and accuracy targets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude and motivated approach to daily tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in claims processing, health insurance, or medical coding
- Familiarity with COB analysis or data mining processes
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint and audit tools
- Understanding of process improvement methods related to COB or healthcare data
