NOTICE OF VACANCY

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Salary: $47,667Fulltime with Benefits

Warren County is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for performing safe and efficient operation of heavy automotive equipment along with a variety of manual tasks in connection with such operations, as well as related work as required. The work is performed under general supervision. 

Minimum Qualifications:

1. One (1) year of experience in the operation of specialized or heavy motor equipment; or
2. Two (2) years of experience in the operation of any type of automotive equipment; or
3. The equivalent combination of experience and training.

At the time of appointment and throughout the term of employment, possession of a valid NYS Class A or B license with endorsements appropriate to the vehicles operated is required.

Authority to fill this job vacancy is subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors.
