Job Description
At Je'Caryous Johnson Entertainment (JJE), we believe that creativity flourishes when people are supported not just professionally — but personally. As part of our commitment to holistic, human-first leadership, we are launching an employee-centered education initiative that reflects our values of joy, emotional well-being, and lifelong growth.
We are currently hiring a full-time private educator to support the family of one of our executive team members — a vibrant, intentional household committed to emotional wellness, real-world learning, and academic excellence for their three children (ages 6, 8, and 9).
About the Family This family embodies joyful, purpose-driven living and a growth-oriented mindset. Education in their home is about more than academics — it's about empowering children to become confident, compassionate, and capable human beings . Creativity, curiosity, mindfulness, and personal development are valued just as much as strong reading, writing, and math foundations.
They’re seeking an educator who is not only experienced and credentialed, but who feels called to nurture the whole child — someone who’s emotionally intelligent, flexible, and inspired by the chance to co-create a deeply meaningful learning experience.
Who This Role is For You’ll be working closely with three incredible children:
- A bright, curious 6-year-old eager to explore
- An 8-year-old with a high IQ who thrives on enrichment and creativity
- A 9-year-old with dyslexia who learns best through visual, hands-on methods , and benefits from evidence-based literacy support
Key Areas You’ll Facilitate Academic Foundations - Reading (phonics-based, multisensory approaches encouraged)
- Writing, spelling, grammar
- Math (including multiplication and division)
- Science and history through storytelling, projects, and inquiry
Emotional & Social Development - Mindfulness and emotional regulation
- Communication skills, confidence building, and healthy boundaries
Critical Thinking & Financial Literacy - Lessons in money, entrepreneurship, and goal setting
- Logic-based games and real-world problem-solving
Creative Expression & Movement - Visual arts, music, storytelling, yoga, and dance
- Nature walks and immersive field trips
Life Skills & Routines - Responsibility, leadership, independence, and household habits
- Gentle support with family transitions, travel prep, and routines
What We’re Looking For - Certified educator (Grades K–5); Master's degree preferred
- Experience with gifted and neurodiverse learners
- Trained in (or open to training in) dyslexia interventions (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, etc.)
- Emotionally intuitive, joyful, patient, firm-but-loving
- Passion for holistic, project-based learning
- Comfortable with light family support (transitions, travel prep, routines)
- Passport-ready and open to educational travel
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits - Starting salary: $80,000+ , commensurate with experience and certifications
- Performance bonus opportunities
- Relocation support available for the ideal candidate
- All travel expenses covered when accompanying the family
- Creative freedom to design your curriculum and learning environment
- Supportive, values-driven partnership with a family that deeply respects educators
- A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to teach meaningfully and holistically
