Salary: $135,000 - $190,000

Housing Attorney - Landlord/Tenant

Position Overview: The Housing Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to tenants in landlord/tenant disputes. This role requires a thorough understanding of landlord and tenant agreements, as well as knowledge of housing laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze landlord and tenant agreements to ensure legal compliance
• Represent clients in eviction proceedings and other landlord/tenant disputes
• Provide legal guidance and advice to clients regarding housing laws and regulations
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Attend hearings and trials related to landlord/tenant cases
• Research and stay updated on relevant housing laws and regulations
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and agencies to address housing issues

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California state bar as a practicing attorney
• Minimum of 3 years experience in housing law, preferably focused on habitability
• Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant agreements
• Familiarity with housing laws and regulations
