Welcome to the role of HR and Payroll Specialist at Beck's! Join our corporate team located in Princeton, IL.

The HR and Payroll Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of HR-related duties at a professional level across a range of functional areas including payroll administration, onboarding, HR data management, and maintaining personnel records through the HRIS. This position requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of HR best practices, knowledge of payroll and HR laws and regulations, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Payroll Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for employees
• Time and attendance management
• Maintain and update employee payroll records
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes using ADP
• Monitor garnishments, 401k contributions, and benefits deductions
• Address employee payroll-related inquiries and assist in resolving discrepancies
• Prepare payroll reports

HR Responsibilities:

• Assist in recruitment and hiring processes, including managing job requisitions in ADP
• Manage and follow up on employee onboarding, including pre-employment background checks and paperwork completion
• Support performance management, employee training processes, and development
• Assist HR team with projects and initiatives, as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• 2+ years of experience in payroll processing, human resources, or a related field.
• Familiarity with HRIS software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
