Job Description

Great short-term HR support gig. MUST have experience doing data entry into an HRIS.

Position is onsite for September and October, then can move to fully remote. Due to this, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance to the office in Chicago loop.

Overview

• Contract position starting mid-September through mid-December 2025
• Working with reputable nonprofit organization
• Scanning paper files to upload into HRIS, prepare files to send to storage
• Data entry into HRIS (alpha and numeric information)
• Assist in putting together training manual for the HRIS

Candidate profile

• 1+ year in HR
• Knowledge and experience with HRIS systems
• Accurate data entry skills – critical for this project
• Commitment to confidentiality

Schedule and location

• Monday through Friday (business hours) - 7.5 hours day/37.5 hour work week
• Onsite in Chicago Sept and Oct, then remote through Dec

Compensation

• $26-28/hour depending on experience

Must be able to successfully complete/clear criminal background check.
