Job Description
Position : HR Specialist Company : Pacific Manufacturing Tennessee Location : Jackson, TN Reports to : HR Manager Status: Exempt Primary Responsibility: T o support the HR Department; to support the employees; to support other departments as needed.
Essential Functions: (includes but not limited)
- Coordinates all staffing agency (temps) activities including time and attendance for payroll submission, missed punches for time and attendance, terminations, orientations, new temps data entry, and other miscellaneous communication.
- Enters new temps into the Paycor system
- Coordinates setting up interviews for full-time candidates with the appropriate Pacific Manufacturing department leadership.
- Creation and administration of offer letter, background application, and drug screen process.
- Completion and mailing of separation notices to termed full-time employees.
- Enters new hires (PMT) into the Paycor system
- Achieves good working knowledge of the Paycor system to do back-up functions in HR
- Assists employees with questions, issues, etc
- Back-up as a badge maker
- Assists in employment enrichment activities
- Any duties as needed
Qualifications and Requirements - High School Diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources preferably in manufacturing recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, time and attendance
- High level of professionalism
- Excellent people skills

- Excellent attendance
Physical Requirements - Ability to work in an office environment with frequent interruptions and noise, 8 hours minimum of staring at computer, sitting at desk
- Ability to stand in front of new temps for orientation
- Ability to speak in front of new hires and leadership
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts as needed
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, twist as needed for up to 12 hours
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs if needed
