Job Description

Hammock Greens in Forest Park, GA is looking for hydroponic farm hands to join our team. We are located on 16 Forest Parkway, Building G. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, reliable and good natured. Successful candidate(s) will work with the Farm Team to grow and pack high quality produce at our hydroponic site. The individual will be assisting the team in the full range of farm activities, from seeding to packaging.

Responsibilities

• Seeding, planting and harvesting a variety of leafy greens.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, tools and container farms.
• Packaging and labeling product harvested properly to ensure food safety standards are met.
• Repair and maintain Hammock Greens property when applicable. ( i.e. general maintenance, litter/trash pickup)
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and compliance / food safety practices.

• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel
• Reach with hands or arms
• Climb a ladder, stoop and balance, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Frequently required to talk or hear
• Frequently required to work in a cold and/or wet environment
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must understand work environment temperatures can be as low as 40 degrees for long periods of time.
