Position Overview

Our client is seeking a talented and detail-driven Commercial Interiors Designer to join their team. This role works closely with clients and project teams to design, furnish, and bring to life innovative and functional workplace environments and other commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong design acumen, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a clear understanding of project phases from concept through completion. Our client is offering a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain client relationships to understand project goals, workplace needs, and brand identity.
• Develop compelling design concepts for commercial interiors, translating client vision into creative, functional solutions.
• Create space plans that enhance workflow, collaboration, and user experience while adhering to programmatic requirements.
• Select and specify finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories that align with the project budget and aesthetic direction.
• Prepare detailed, coordinated construction drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and ADA regulations, working in tandem with the project architect.
• Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and internal team members to ensure design integrity throughout execution.
• Communicate clearly with project managers and stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation across all phases.
