Position Summary
NantGPower is looking for a Summer Intern to support cross-functional product initiatives across cost modeling, inventory tracking, and marketing tools development. This role exists to provide structured, hands-on learning while directly contributing to operational effectiveness within the Product team. The intern will assist with cost-of-goods sold (COGS) analysis, maintain inventory accuracy, and help prepare customer-facing documentation like spec sheets and product decks. This position fills a short-term operational support gap during peak planning and reporting periods and allows NantGPower to assess and develop emerging talent in a high-growth environment.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Support development of cost-of-goods sold (COGS) models by gathering data and inputting into structured tools. Product cost transparency improves pricing decisions and enhances financial tracking. 25%
- Track and reconcile inventory data in collaboration with Finance and Operations. Inventory accuracy supports effective operations and prevents financial discrepancies. 15%
- Create and maintain product marketing tools such as spec sheets and product decks. Clear and consistent product communication improves internal alignment and supports customer engagement. 20%
- Participate in team meetings and assist in cross-functional coordination across departments. Timely updates and shared information keep product operations aligned and responsive. 15%
- Help maintain dashboards and timelines used by the Product team to track deliverables. Improved visibility into project status enables more effective team planning and execution. 15%
- Document workflows and assist in organizing internal files and communications. Structured information sharing reduces ambiguity and increases team efficiency. 10%
Essential Functions
- Develops and maintains cost and inventory tracking tools under supervision.
- Creates and updates product-facing materials such as spec sheets and product decks. Participates in cross-functional meetings and documents updates or action items.
- Supports maintenance of dashboards, timelines, and shared internal files.
- Completes assigned tasks on-site at the Los Angeles facility during the internship period.
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, charts).
- Some experience with PowerPoint or design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus for creating spec sheets or decks
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to jump in, ask questions, and work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in supply chain, product development, operations, or cost modeling.
- Clear and concise communicator with strong organizational skills.

Hourly Pay $25
