POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to support essential laboratory operations under the supervision of a Full-Time Employee (FTE). The role involves a variety of hands-on tasks, including seed dropping, crushing, planting, harvesting, counting, grinding, reagent preparation, and other routine laboratory functions. Responsibilities may shift depending on production season and daily laboratory needs, offering exposure to diverse processes within seed quality testing.

Shift Hours:

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• ( Shift hours are subject to change based on operational needs )

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate laboratory equipment accurately to support data generation.
• Assist with the receipt, inspection, ordering, and stocking of laboratory supplies.
• Perform routine lab tasks by following established guidelines and instructions.
• Apply knowledge of standard laboratory practices and procedures to ensure quality results.
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment under FTE supervision.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree in a scientific discipline (minimum).
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs as part of regular duties.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods (4–6 hours).
• Manual dexterity for repetitive hand, wrist, and arm tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in fast-paced and/or team-oriented work environments.
• Familiarity with general laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
