Burnett Medical Center is seeking a full-time or part-time MLT or MT to work in our busy lab. We are a small rural hospital just a few miles from the St. Croix River, and only a little over an hour to the Twin Cities.

SHIFT & HOURS : Full or part-time hours; clinic and hospital labs; this includes rotating call (1 night/week, 1 weekend/month, and rotating holidays); flexible scheduling

JOB SUMMARY

A generalist to perform phlebotomy, urinalysis, chemistry kit testing, hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, and molecular testing.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Registered Medical Technologist or a four year or Masters' Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Clinical Laboratory Science.
• ASCP/NCA certified
• Prefer one (1) year hospital experience.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and provide great customer service. This includes ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other staff members.
