REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position involves performing the day to day operations of a feed mill.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Bags feed/seed for warehouse and delivery
2. Operates bagger, forklift, and pallet jacks
3. Unloads trucks bringing in raw ingredients
4. Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance on the mill/cleaning system.
5. Assists customers
6. Ensures the facilities are kept clean.
7. Helps to maintain a safe and clean work environment for all.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
9. Takes responsibility for maintaining personal safety training and checklist completion on Snapshot.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Excellent customer service skills.
2. Forklift experience is greatly preferred.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
5. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
6. Acute attention to detail.
