Job Description

We are currently partnered with a Midland based O&G firm seeking a skilled Landman to join a dynamic team in the Midland area. This role will focus on New Mexico, so strong experience in the NM area is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess opportunities for land or operating rights acquisitions
• Clear titles for fast-paced drilling programs
• Negotiate, draft, and review various land agreements
• Collaborate with legal and land administration teams to maintain accurate records and resolve issues
• Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and market trends
• Provide recommendations for property and asset divestitures/acquisitions

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Landman in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably for an owner-operator
• AAPL certification preferred
• Experience in the New Mexico area essential.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
