The purpose of J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. (J-U-B) is Helping Each Other Create Better Communities. We foster a teamwork environment to solve problems that improve society – while providing employees growth opportunities. We are hiring an intern to work in our Kaysville or Salt Lake, UT offices. This position is intended to be a summer internship position, with potential for growth as you gain knowledge through professional experience and individualized training.

While supporting the needs of individual projects, this position will collaborate with our team of experienced landscape architects and landscape designers. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working on municipal and institutional level projects including parks, trails, streetscapes, and campuses.
• Production of conceptual plans, layout and dimension plans, construction detailing, planting plans, irrigation plans, and presentation graphics.
• Computer 3D modeling design and rendering.
• Standard construction detail drafting and organization.

Requirements:

• Progress toward finishing/or already possess BLA degree from an accredited program in Landscape Architecture
• Design process exposure (design process from concept through construction documentation)
• Exposure to and some proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is a plus)
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
• MS Office Products knowledge (including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)
• Proficiency with SketchUp, Rhino, and Lumion.
• Professional level communication skills (both speaking and writing)

Pay: $19-26 an hour/Determined by experience and based on your year in college.
