Job Description: They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Forensic Structural Engineer to join the team in Miami. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on forensic investigations, expert witness testimony, and depositions. This role includes mentoring and leading our expert witness division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough forensic investigations of structural failures and damages.
• Analyze and interpret structural data to determine the cause and extent of failures.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support findings.
• Provide expert witness testimony in legal proceedings and depositions.
• Mentor and lead the expert witness division, guiding junior engineers.
• Collaborate with legal teams, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic structural engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with expert witness testimony and depositions is highly desirable.
• Leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
