Lead UX Researcher Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX Researcher to lead and support the redesign and transformation of the website, a global platform connecting all divisions of our vast organization.
This role involves collaboration with product stakeholders, design leads, and various product teams while engaging with opinionated Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The ideal candidate will have a robust background in UX research methodologies and excellent stakeholder management skills.

- Conduct comprehensive UX research using a variety of methods
- Advocate for the importance of research findings to influence and persuade opinionated stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively within a multicultural team environment amid organizational silos
- Manage stakeholder relations and negotiation processes
- Create detailed reports and presentations to showcase research insights and recommendations
- Synthesize complex data into actionable findings that drive design and product decisions
- Identify user needs, behaviors, and motivations through qualitative and quantitative research
- Generate user personas, journey maps, and experience frameworks
- Support continued innovation and improvements in UX research practices
- Ensure deliverables meet the strategic goals of the OneWeb site redesign
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX design, human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in user research methodologies and usability testing
- Expertise in stakeholder management and ability to align diverse perspectives
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD
- Understanding of analytics tools including Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Tableau
- Competency in synthesizing user research into actionable insights
- Skills in managing large-scale research projects in a collaborative environment
- Background in working with cross-functional teams and navigating complex corporate structures
- Flexibility to adapt research practices to meet business requirements and timelines
- Capability to work in the US time zone
