Niobrara Public School is looking for a passionate Librarian to support our students and help foster a love of reading in a small, close-knit community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help students select books and manage checkouts.
• Keep the library organized and accessible.
• Build and maintain a diverse collection of books.
• Plan activities to encourage reading.
• Work with teachers to integrate library resources into lessons.
• Assist students with library technology.
• Create a welcoming library environment.
• Communicate library updates to staff and parents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field (preferred but not required).
• Experience in a library or school setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable attitude.
