Job Description

Job Title: LMS Administrator (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's Learning Management System (LMS), including user accounts, roles, and permissions.
  • Upload, configure, and maintain e-learning content, courses, and resources within the LMS.
  • Ensure system settings, workflows, and functionalities align with the organization's learning and development goals.
  • Handle LMS system upgrades, integrations, and updates in coordination with IT and vendors.
  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting system issues, responding to inquiries, and managing access or login issues.
  • Train users on how to navigate the LMS, enroll in courses, and access learning resources.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and training materials for the LMS platform.
  • Create and manage course structures, learning paths, quizzes, assessments, and certifications in the LMS.
  • Schedule and manage instructor-led training sessions (in-person or virtual) within the LMS.
  • Monitor course registrations, completion rates, and user progress, and generate reports for management.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accurate deployment of new courses and content.
  • Generate and distribute reports on learner progress, course completion, and training effectiveness to stakeholders.
  • Analyze LMS data and trends to identify areas for improvement in training programs and user engagement.
  • Provide insights to support decision-making for learning initiatives and compliance training requirements.
  • Customize and configure the LMS to meet specific organizational needs, including branding, user interface settings, and reporting functionalities.
  • Integrate the LMS with other HR and learning systems (e.g., HRIS, third-party content providers) as needed.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system by performing regular audits and maintenance.
  • Ensure that the LMS complies with industry standards and organizational policies, including data privacy and security regulations.
  • Manage user roles and permissions to control access and maintain system security.
  • Maintain training records for compliance audits and certifications.
  • Stay current with LMS best practices, new features, and emerging trends in e-learning technology.
  • Work with the Learning and Development team to recommend and implement improvements in learning strategies, technologies, and user engagement.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and IT to resolve complex technical issues and optimize system performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience as an LMS Administrator or in a similar role managing e-learning platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Cornerstone, SAP Litmos, or similar systems).
  • Knowledge of SCORM, AICC, xAPI standards for e-learning content.
  • Experience with system integrations, user support, and LMS configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and security.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with LMS reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience in instructional design and e-learning content creation.
  • Knowledge of HR systems or learning technologies integration.
  • Certification in LMS administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
