Job Description

Our client, a prominent oil & gas company, is seeking a M&A attorney with upstream exploration experience to handle overflow work for M&A matters. In this role, the attorney will handle exploration negotiations with host countries, ancillary agreements, international regulations research, and purchase agreements. This role is 100% remote although there is a preference for Houston based candidates.

• Start date: within the next month
• Duration: long-term
• Hours per week: sporadic, with some weeks up to 40 hours if the attorney is available
• Location: 100% remote, preference for Houston based attorneys
• Rate: $100-120 per hour

Requirements

• 8+ years of corporate or oil & gas experience
• Active bar admission in any US state
• Upstream exploration experience
