Job Summary
The Real Estate and Facilities Services team is seeking a professional to support campus-wide operations, including mail distribution, office moves, supply management, and shipping services. This role involves maintaining data metrics, coordinating facility services, and ensuring safe operation of company vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, and capable of handling physically demanding tasks with professionalism and attention to detail.
Job Description
- Professionally represents Real Estate and Facilities Services (REFS) organization both externally and within the company
- Assist with campus wide support service request as needed
- Coordinates office moves
- Receives and distributes incoming mail, interoffice, and packages
- Maintain and gather data metrics to support the activities of mail operations
- Posts all departments’ daily mail and delivery of posted mail to USPS downtown office
- Maintain postage machines/postage requests and supplies
- Preparation of all FedEx/UPS/services labels
- Place orders for standard office supplies and special request
- Move furniture and office components
- Maintain and operate loading dock area
- Safe operation of company motor vehicles and following all traffic laws and speed limits while driving
Skills Required
- Minimum of 1 year of applicable of experience
- Shipping & Receiving experience
- Must possess a current, valid driver’s license
- Mus be able to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis
- Must be able to work in the United States indefinitely
- Must be customer service focused
- Construction knowledge preferred
- Ability to safely operate a pallet jack
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance
- Needs excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and stay focused under pressure
Education/Training/Certifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state certified program
