• 6 to 10 Yrs of experience in the Mainframe & Java Modernisation space.
• The Candidate has experience in understanding the requirements for the Mainframe Modernization and Legacy Migration.
• The tech stack used is Java FSD Python Mainframe technologies(COBOL JCL DB2 IMSMQ) and Webservices EXDRIVE SORT etc as mandatory
• The Candidate has experience and worked on the Mainframe Modernization in migration OnPrem to OnPrem Cloud Migration to Azure Migration to Microfocus.
• Strong in triaging production issues using all the basic tools in Mainframe.
• Knowing Java/distributed solutions will be super plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
• Understanding and experience of Product Development Life Cycle Business Requirement Specification documentation and experience of working in an Agile environment.
• Experience in PL/1 JCL DB2 and CICS Webservices EXTRIVE SORT
• VSAM mandatory
• Secondary skills required COBOL changeman tool SQL
• Designing Coding Unit Testing Debugging
• Object oriented principles and best practices
• Ability to work independently
