Job Description

We’re currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician who holds a current State of Texas Electrician License . This position plays a key role in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical equipment across the facility — ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

  • Install, repair, and maintain wiring, fixtures, and control systems per local and state electrical codes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently to reduce downtime.
  • Inspect and test transformers, circuit breakers, and other components to ensure safe operation.

General Maintenance

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, conveyor, and other mechanical systems.
  • Support machine setup and modifications for production requirements.
  • Respond quickly to emergency maintenance calls to keep operations running.

Safety & Documentation

  • Follow all OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in facility audits and inspections, ensuring timely follow-up on corrective actions.

Team Support

  • Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and other technicians.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Texas Electrician License (Journeyman or higher) — documentation required.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial or facility maintenance.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Willing to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours maintenance calls when needed.

Preferred

  • Background in manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environments.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, motor controls , and energy-efficient equipment.
