We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate II to join our production team. This role involves manufacturing, testing, and packing products according to blueprints and work instructions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.
Manufacturing Associate II - Production (Mid Level)
Location : DeLand, FL
Schedule & Compensation
- Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:50 AM - 3:20 PM
- Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
- Duration: 6 months with opportunity for extension or conversion
Key Responsibilities
- Read and follow work procedures and schematics to set up and operate equipment
- Produce products based on specification requirements
- Perform manufacturing operations to produce assemblies
- Record daily output
- Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality policies
- Train other workers
- Collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency
- Complete necessary paperwork
- Comply with EHS regulations including proper PPE usage
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED OR 2 years of complex manufacturing experience with machinery troubleshooting ability
- Strong communication skills to receive, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Computer literacy
- Basic math skills
- Detail-oriented with quality-minded work habits
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Capable of standing, sitting, stooping, bending, walking, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- Steady hand dexterity for equipment operation
- Ability to read and write simple statements
- Sound decision-making and judgment skills
Dress Code Requirements
Our manufacturing facility prioritizes safety, and the following dress code must be strictly followed:
Required
- OSHA-approved steel toe or composite toe shoes
- Long pants covering ankles and legs (jeans, slacks, uniform pants)
- Safety glasses (must be worn at all times on production floor)
- Shirts covering shoulders
Not Permitted
- Sweatpants, shorts, yoga pants, capris
- Miniskirts, dresses
- Cropped tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps
- Open-toed shoes
- Clothing with tears (including designed tears)
- Offensive wording or images on clothing
