Job Title: Manufacturing/Process Engineer
An industry leading reverse logistics company specializing in warranty services, manufacturing and re-manufacturing of 5G, LTE, GSM, and CDMA2000 mobile phones, Tablets, 3D printers and Laser printers is looking for a Process Engineer to work with our manufacturing team. you will have access to and utilize innovative design systems and automation to streamline operations and deliver products and services to the telecommunications industry, on time and within budget.
Objectives:
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Conceive, design, develop, and test innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives.
- Evaluate new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as an input for scheduling methods, performance metrics, and financial standards.
- Uphold the company’s reputation by delivering innovative solutions while adhering to local and national regulations.
- Manage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects, and mentor fellow engineers and technicians.
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
- Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
- Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Perform process simulations.
- Manage cost and time constraints.
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
- Manage advances robotics to improve capacity, quality and cost.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production.
- Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements.
- Design and develop robust manufacturing concepts to simplify and improve processes and ensure best practices.
- Create and maintain required documentation for manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
- Conducting research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing.
- Establishing safety procedures for individuals.
- Designing and planning equipment layout.
- Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production.
- Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes.
