About the Role:
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer with strong CNC machining experience and a proven track record in supporting manufacturing operations . This role is key to improving process efficiency, product quality, and operational performance through smart engineering solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process engineering efforts across CNC machining and manufacturing operations.
- Develop and improve CNC programs, work instructions, tooling, and fixtures.
- Support daily production needs—troubleshoot issues, reduce downtime, and drive root cause analysis.
- Create and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) and set process parameters.
- Perform process validations, statistical analysis, and capability studies.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and internal quality standards.
- Train manufacturing staff on new processes, tools, and quality checks.
- Support quoting, cost-reduction initiatives, and capital equipment projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong CNC machining expertise .
- Experience supporting production floors and solving real-time manufacturing issues.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.
- Familiarity with medical device manufacturing and regulatory standards (ISO, FDA) is a plus.
- Skilled in SolidWorks, SPC tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to travel and work extended hours as needed.
