Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Materials Handler to support a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation. This role is key to keeping materials, products, and supplies moving efficiently throughout the facility. The position involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are delivered to the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Label, store, and organize materials in assigned locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare items for production or outbound shipment.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts.
- Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Work closely with team members and other departments to meet deadlines.
- Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime or varied shifts as needed.
