Job Summary

You will perform various operations including but not limited to, setting up, monitoring, and operating Tape line/s and other pieces of equipment under direct supervision associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.
Job Description
As a Shop Operator - Tape Head, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up, monitoring, and operating Tape line/s and other pieces of equipment under direct supervision associated with the manufacturing facility requirements
- Performing Tape Head operation, cleaning, and general setup, which includes loading and unloading products and devices in the Work Center
- Following safety guidelines and quality standards per Job Safety Analysis (JSA), production schedule, setup instructions, and quality specs
- Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing/engineering specifications, quality assurance, and ISO requirements
- Training and assisting other employees as necessary
- Following verbal and written instructions, maintaining accurate records, and performing other duties as required
Skills Required
- Have 1-year minimum previous manufacturing or shop experience
- Be able to read and interpret routine instructions
- Be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Have good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment
- Have good communication skills, safety oriented, and a team player
- Be flexible and possess the ability to follow work center guidelines
- Attention to detail
- Proactive, and adaptability
- Willingness to learn

- High School Diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Special Equipment Required: Steel Toed/Safety Toed Boots
- Work Hours:
- Night Shift, Monday to Friday, 5:00 pm – 5:00 am, or 5:00 am – 5:00 pm dependent on the need
- OT on weekends contingent on business needs - voluntary
