SNI is partnered with a fantastic and growing manufacturer of industrial machinery that is adding multiple new engineers to their team as they anticipate further growth in 2025.
Role Summary:
- Designing and engineering equipment with precision and accuracy.
- Developing detailed 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
- Preparing thorough assembly and fabrication drawings, as well as bills of materials.
- Ensuring projects are fully prepared for order release from the engineering stage.
- Supporting the sales team with design and engineering expertise as needed.
- Providing technical assistance to customers and the sales department through various communication channels.
- Troubleshooting technical issues while collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal production teams.
- Developing comprehensive equipment manuals and other critical project documentation.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software and a sharp attention to detail. Autodesk Inventor experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude paired with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects while staying on top of responsibilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly explain technical concepts.
- Dependability, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative team of engineers.
Preferred Experience:
Candidates with the following qualifications will stand out:
- Hands-on experience designing automated machinery or conveyor systems.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing process, Visual Basic, and automation controls.
- Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
