Join Our Team as a Loan Officer (LO)

We're seeking talented Loan Officers to join our team and help us build lasting relationships with clients and referral partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source referral business and borrowers, spending at least 80% of the workday outside the office building networks and generating leads.
• Originate and manage loan transactions while serving as the primary point of contact for borrowers.
• Maintain an active knowledge base of MEP’s loan products and qualification requirements.
• Identify and recommend products that align with customer needs and MEP’s lending guidelines.
• Review active loan files daily to ensure documentation is complete and identify ways to expedite the process.
• Leverage professional judgment to assess potential borrowers' suitability.
• Maintain active licensing required for lending activities.
• Meet with borrowers at their convenience—whether at home, office, or other locations.
• Develop a robust referral network, including prior borrowers, real estate agents, financial planners, attorneys, and settlement companies.
• Attend closings to represent MEP and ensure a smooth transaction.
• Achieve and exceed MEP’s Minimum Funding Standards of 2–5 funded loans per month.
