Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: McKinney, Texas
Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Shift Per Week: 5
Scheduled Hours: 40
Salary: $33 - $48/hour
Sign-On Bonus
$10,000 for external candidates.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI procedures in a hospital setting. If you are detail-oriented, patient-focused, and eager to contribute to a professional team, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures following established protocols and standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.
- Maintain equipment, work areas, and medical imaging records.
- Serve as a preceptor, providing training to new team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Experience: Less than 1 year required.
- Certifications:
- ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists)
- ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
