Title: Network Engineer
Location: Irving, TX/Enon, OH (Remote)
Duration: 12 months
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a specialization in Apple devices and their integration with wireless access points (WAPs). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ensuring seamless wireless connectivity for macOS, iOS, and other Apple devices in enterprise environments. This role involves designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting wireless networks to support Apple devices while ensuring top-tier performance and user experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES
- Design, configure, and maintain wireless networks to support Apple OS devices in enterprise environments.
- Optimize the performance of Apple OS devices by analyzing and enhancing the interaction between Apple and wireless access points.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues related to Apple OS devices, wireless protocols, and access point configurations.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement network policies and standards tailored to Apple OS devices.
- Conduct regular wireless network performance testing, including site surveys, signal strength analysis, and bandwidth utilization for Apple OS optimization.
- Configure and troubleshoot wireless access points, controllers, and related networking equipment to support seamless Apple OS operations.
- Monitor and analyze network logs to identify and address wireless performance or connectivity bottlenecks.
- Stay updated on advancements in Apple OS and wireless technologies to recommend system improvements and innovative solutions.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for Apple OS and wireless system integrations.
- Analyze and make network configuration recommendations related to Apple implementation from Apple devices
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues with clients
- Maintain configuration templates on the wireless access points
- Understanding of authentication protocols

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Experience managing enterprise deployments of Apple devices, including macOS and iOS.
- Knowledge of cloud-managed wireless solutions, such as Cisco Meraki or Aruba Central.
