Job Description:

- This role will provide support for multiple locations across the Americas.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Collaborate on complex LAN projects both independently and within a team.
- Apply networking expertise and business insight to resolve key technical challenges.
- Support infrastructure across multiple Americas-based locations.
Typical Task Breakdown:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN issues and replace defective components as needed.
- Respond to support requests related to LAN development and operations.
- Provide off-shift support for critical incidents, participating in an on-call rotation.
- Coordinate with business partners and vendors for infrastructure integration.
- Design and implement process improvements related to network development and support.
- Adhere to ITSM processes and documentation standards for all changes.
- Work collaboratively with other technical teams (e.g., firewall, VPN, wireless, NAC) to execute changes.
- Provide technical guidance in the LAN domain to business stakeholders.
Interaction with Team:
- Collaborate with multiple internal technical teams including LAN, Security, Firewall, and general IT support.
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
Technical Skills (Required):
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in Network Engineering
- LAN implementation and support
- Strong understanding of risk domains, tiered domains, TCP/IP, Ethernet, QoS, IP subnetting
- Experience with copper and fiber cabling, OSPF, VLAN Trunking, VLANs, and switch configuration
- Hands-on experience with Cisco switch operations and configuration
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within teams
Technical Skills (Desired):
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Experience with automation/scripting
- Experience with DNA Center (Catalyst Center)
- Wireless infrastructure experience
- Background working with mid- to large-sized organizations
Soft Skills (Required):
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
