Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of leading complex projects, preferably within a commercial nuclear environment. The successful candidate will serve as the single point of accountability for project execution, overseeing all aspects from planning through implementation. Projects typically involve the construction and modification of power plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional project teams to develop and execute comprehensive project plans.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide regular updates on project status, including financial and schedule performance.
- Coordinate with site stakeholders and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Support shift work schedules (12-hour shifts, including potential night shifts) during refueling outages.
- Travel occasionally for benchmarking, supplier inspections, or factory testing.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years Project Management experience
- Experience in commercial nuclear environments.
Work Environment:
- The primary work location is in New Hill, NC.
- A hybrid work option is available (up to 2 remote days/week) upon manager approval and demonstrated proficiency.
- Must obtain and maintain unescorted access to a regulated commercial nuclear facility.
