About the Hospitality Aide Position:
The Hospitality Aide role involves duties in compliance with state and federal regulations and policies. Employment in this position may lead to CNA training based on job performance, although direct patient care is not within the scope of the Hospitality Aide role.
**Primary Responsibilities and Duties:**
1. Respond to signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine resident needs.
2. Distribute linens and make beds.
3. Serve and collect food trays, acting as a tray monitor.
4. Pass fluids and nourishments to residents who do not require assistance.
5. Clean utility rooms, storage areas, and resident rooms/closets/drawers.
6. Stock supplies and empty soiled linen and incontinence barrels.
7. Clean, disinfect, and store bedpans, bedside commodes, urinals, and other supplies under licensed nurse guidance, based on Hospitality Aide abilities.
8. Change bed linens, run errands, direct visitors, and answer telephones.
9. Perform other duties as assigned, appropriate to the position.
