Role Description
This is a temporary (covering medical leave), early intervention role for an Occupational Therapist starting July 29, 2024 for 6-8 weeks with ability to become a permanent employee with the company if interested in pursuing. Caseload of approximately 28 clients per week, locations include central San Diego (Miramar, La Jolla, Kearney Mesa, Clairemont, downtown).
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for performing therapy sessions, conducting assessments and evaluations, creating treatment plans, and collaborating with families and caregivers. The role involves working closely with children ages 0-3 years to enhance their development and independence through therapeutic activities, exercises, and interventions. The Occupational Therapist will also maintain documentation on progress to the interdisciplinary team.
