Role Overview
We’re seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Occupational Therapist (OT) to perform
Environmental Assessments for clients in their homes within the Greater Baltimore area.
This part-time W-2 position offers extremely flexible scheduling—perfect for an OT seeking supplemental
income or meaningful community-based work.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct in-home Environmental Assessments focused on safety, accessibility, and
independence.
- Evaluate clients’ physical and cognitive needs as they relate to home environments.
- Identify assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and smart home modifications that improve daily living.
- Document findings and recommendations using standardized Preva reporting templates.
- Collaborate with Preva’s Care Team to align recommendations with available funding (e.g., Medicaid AT
Waivers).
- Communicate professionally with family caregivers, Support Planners, and partner organizations.
Qualifications - Current Maryland Occupational Therapy license (active and in good standing).
- 2+ years of experience in home health, aging services, or disability support preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 30-mile radius of Baltimore.
- Comfort with basic mobile apps or online documentation tools.
Schedule & Compensation - 10–15 hours per week, flexible—weekday, evening, or weekend visits based
on client needs.
- W-2 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience.
- Mileage reimbursement provided.
- Ongoing training on smart home and assistive technologies.
