We are seeking a handyman to provide services at community locations.

Scope and Contract Proposal for Light Work Handyman Services

Overview:

Qualified handyman to provide light maintenance and repair services at community outpatient medical sites. The selected handyman will work on an hourly rate basis, with additional costs for materials as needed.

Responsibilities:

The handyman will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, including but not limited to:

• Lighting Maintenance
• Replacing burned-out light bulbs and fixtures
• Addressing minor electrical issues (e.g., loose connections, faulty switches)
• General Repairs
• Fixing minor wall damage, including touch-up painting (when approved)
• Hanging items such as whiteboards, frames, and signage
• Tightening loose fixtures and furniture
• Plumbing Support
• Snaking clogged toilets
• Tightening leaking faucets
• Addressing minor plumbing concerns
• Liaison for Larger Repairs
• Assisting in the initial investigation of larger maintenance issues
• Providing assessments and recommendations for when a licensed contractor is needed
• Coordinating with external vendors as necessary

Service Locations

• Washington, DC
• Maryland ( Bethesda, Silver Spring and Greenbelt)

Work Schedule & Response Time

Response times should be within 24-48 hours for non-urgent tasks and same-day for urgent requests (e.g., plumbing issues affecting patient care).
