About the Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Optical Sales Associate who loves helping people find their perfect pair of glasses — and who thrives in a team-oriented, patient-focused environment. Whether you're an experienced optical pro or someone with retail skills eager to learn, we want to hear from you!
️ Core Responsibilities:
- Help patients select frames and lenses that match their vision needs and personal style
- Educate patients on lens types (single vision, bifocal, progressive, sunglasses, etc.)
- Take accurate measurements and ensure proper fit
- Explain vision insurance benefits in a clear and friendly manner
- Dispense glasses and guide patients through adapting to new prescriptions or lens types
- Perform basic eyewear repairs and adjustments
- Communicate proactively with patients about order status or delays
- Support team members with office tasks and cross-training as needed
- (Bonus points for lab experience in edging, finishing, or surfacing!)
What We’re Looking For:
- Customer-focused and friendly with a natural ability to make people feel at ease
- Sales-savvy and confident in educating patients about their options
- A team player who’s willing to step in wherever needed
- Comfortable using software like Excel, Word, and order/inventory systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Optical experience preferred , but we’re open to training the right candidate
- Willing to work at least one weekend day and adaptable to changing schedules
