Job Description:
The Montana Independent Medical Review (IMR) Project reviews qualified cases to determine if medical benefits should be reopened or not. The process begins when an injured worker petitions for a reopening of their medical benefits. Medical benefits can only be reopened if either the benefits allow the injured worker to stay at work OR they allow the injured worker to go back to work. If approved, their benefits are generally approved for 2 years.
