Owner Operator Truck Driver
Description Alpha Transport Logistics is looking for Class A Owner Operators interested in joining our team. We are seeking top drivers to pull our company 53 vans, and 48 flatbeds and Fuel tankers. We service the 11 Western states with the opportunity to be home 2-3 days per week further runs also available also the option to be on the road for an extended period. Drivers can average over 3,000 miles a week and are paid for loaded and empty miles which works out to 75% of the load. We also have dedicated runs available.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Be familiar with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Handbook.
Loading and unloading customer product correctly for quality control and product integrity.
Ensuring that deliveries are made on-time and all paperwork involved is completed accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
Follow all standard operating and safety procedures and practices.
Requirements
Minimum one year experience hauling dry vans or flatbed
1 year fuel or oil experience If wanting to haul Tankers
Hazmat preferred or willing to become certified
Have Fuel card
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Clean MVR
Class A CDL Required
Must own your truck and must meet DOT regulations and standards
Have a basic knowledge of DOT and Federal Highway Regulations.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Have a great safety rating
Have own authority (preferred)
